MailRivo uses webhooks to maintain your sender reputation and trigger business logic. When a provider like Amazon SES or SMTP2GO detects a delivery failure, it pushes a notification to your dedicated endpoint. MailRivo then:

  • Marks the subscriber as 'bounced' or 'complained' globally.
  • Updates the campaign real-time scorecard.
  • Logs the raw payload for technical auditing.
  • Informs the Automation engine to pause active workflows.

Amazon SES (SNS)

Standard Deliverability Integration

Connect Amazon SES notifications via Simple Notification Service (SNS). MailRivo provides a direct, high-speed endpoint for native SNS payloads.

Navigate to the SES Console > Verified Identities.

Open your Domain/Email settings and go to Notifications.

Create or select an SNS Topic for Bounces and Complaints.

Add an HTTPS Subscription to the topic using the URL on the right.

SMTP2GO sends unified JSON payloads for bounces, spam reports, and unsubscribes. Configure your dashboard to push these events directly.

Log in to SMTP2GO and go to Settings > Webhooks.

Click 'Add New Webhook' and enter the Direct URL.

Select 'Bounces', 'Spam Complaints', and 'Unsubscribes'.

Ensure 'Custom Data' is enabled to track Campaign IDs.
